    A Beautiful piece of Finland
Not very far from Helsinki area, Tampere or Lahti is Pulkkilan harju. Rent a bike and cycle from Asikkala to Pulkkilan harju. There is a bicycle bath from Vääksy to the Pulkkilan harju. It's also nice trip with motocycle or car. Pulkkilan harju is a concervation area, and it's near Päijänne. Pick up berries, swim and just enjoy hiking in the Finnish nature. Have Fun!

    Outdoor activity for fun
Pulkkilanharju is formed by glacial period. It is fun and lovely place to those who want some outdoor activities quite easily. You can trek or wander in the national park or ride a bicycle in a beutiful scenery. There is a good bicycle path from Vääksy through Pulkkilanharju to the village of Kalkkinen and on the road you see and cross two bridges, Karisalmi and Käkisalmi. The restaurant Reimari is open in the summertime offering for example salmon soup, pizzas, hamburgers and drinks.
