Amazing view to Lake Päijänne

Well worth the climb. Theres two towers, one smaller and one bigger. From the bigger one theres amazing view to Lake Päijänne.

    The best place to watch the sunrise on Lake Päijänne
    This is a wonderful observation tower! It is free, it is always open and there is an extremely beautiful view to Lake Päijänne and Padasjoki Marina. You can leave your car in the parking lot of Padasjoki DiscGolfPark or in the parking lot of Kullasmarina Holiday Villas. It is less than 400 meters from these parking lots to the observation tower. Follow signs "Maisematorni". The walking route is easier from the parking lot of Padasjoki DiscGolfPark. From there you can walk along a running track. I think that this is "the must" sight if you visit Padasjoki!

    Great views and good exercise!
    This is well worth the hike and climb to enjoy the views over lake Päijänne! The forest trail from the marina is a nice start to warm you up for the climb up once you get to the towers. I would recommend taking a little picnic to you can sit on the benches in the tower and enjoy the views.
