WOW! Not many of these left in Finland!
Everybody talks about Porvoo medieval church but this is at least as impressive! Old plank floors, drawings all over the walls and enchanting small wooden statues and coats of arms...! Definitely a pearl off the beaten track!

Wonderful church
I had a WOW! moment when I entered the church. The decoration is breathtaking and so colorful and well preserved. The pulpit is very decorated. There is lots to see. Next to the church there is a small boutique that sells all kinds of handicrafts. It's in first floor of the large white building (old granary). If you want to buy something nice then you should visit this boutique.

Beautiful and unique medieval church
One of the only three surviving medieval brick buildings in Finland. The church paintings are incredibly well preserved and the atmosphere is really special. The church is also an important part of Finnish history. The church is a short detour from the Tampere-Helsinki freeway, and absolutely worth a visit.
