Hämeenlinna Art Museum is a diverse museum of visual arts near the centre of Hämeenlinna. The museum operates in two buildings in the Verkatehdas area, both featuring temporary exhibitions that showcase various types of visual arts. Faces of Finland (until 5.1.2020)
The exhibition is located in the Verkatehdas area in an old building that has been totally renovated. When you are inside you can enjoy the versatility of the space. Upstairs is, until the end of January 2020 an exhibition with artwork, both own and borrowed. Unfortunately the pieces of art have been placed very low from the floor. Hence taller people and also “normal” length, need to kneel in front of the paintings. The paintings are nice, no problem with them.

Simply good
Hämeenlinna Art Museum has always well established exhibitions with reasonable amount of works for about 1 hour visit. Certainly a must visit in Hämeenlinna.
