Nordic nature & silence not far from Helsinki

In Evo there is enough space for several days of hiking. Trails are marked well and fire places are well spread. We spent two nights in a tent and enjoyed very much the autumn forest, the camp fire and a beautiful sunny morning after a cold night. We will definitely return another time. P.s. Evo is as well good with kids as distances are not far and service available. You can as well rent a number of cabins there.

    I visited the area as part of the Finnish scout and guide international jamboree. This is a beautiful area to camp in, swim in the lakes and walk in the forest. Gorgeous scenery.

    Private hiking experience
    A wonderful and more private hiking area with lakes, rocks, and wondeful woods. Variety of routes as of length, scenery and difficulty. Some routes are not well marked, so be prepared for surprises or take gps or Ilves map (19 euros) with you.
