Picture your self and a group of friends gliding over the mirror like Huon River in the grand old lady,the M.V Nancy.She is nearly 100 years old and beautifully restored. Her huon pine planks have stood the test of time.She is powered by an electric motor which is ecofriendly and quiet so that it does not disturb the abundant wildlife. You quietly cruise up and down the river and through the historic Egg Island Canal dug by hand over 100 years ago.People on board were busily snapping with their cameras as well as mingling with other passengers.Conversation was easy,due to the quiet engine.The crew both on board and ashore were very knowledgeable and friendly .Safety was paramount.We were greeted with a welcome cuppa and bikkies on return.Most people with a disability should not have a problem making this delightful trip,but should talk to staff before hand .It was a great experience,highly recommended .I can't wait to go again.Thank you to the Nancy crew.
