Sensational River Cruise
A sensational small boat experience. Room for about 9-10 people so extremely good. Terrific vessel - La Drone in an old wooden boat and this just enhances the experience. We enjoyed a beautiful glass of Huon Valley wine with a great little platter for two. All locally sourced ingredients. Taylor is an excellent captain and cruise director. The scenery sells itself! A photographer’s dream. Bird life, vineyards, boats, houses - everything you could imagine on the river.

Morning tea on the Huon
This was a morning tea cruise along the beautiful Huon river in a grand old timber vessel called Ladrone (built circa 1948). Our skipper Taylor provided expert commentary and interesting anecdotes of the history and life along the river, as well as fresh( still warm from the bakery) scones with jam and cream all locally sourced. Coffee and tea also provided. This is an experience not to be missed.

Very nice, informative, relaxing cruise
Taylor was excellent with a lot of local knowledge. The boat was a classic wooden boat which was very comfortable. The morning tea was great and the overall experience was first rate.
