Great Affordable Beach with Amenities
We went here for our first beach day and returned every day! Great spot, great place to swim. Water is shallow and perfect for kids, there are paths to deeper water through the seaweed that are clear and you can swim comfortably. Water was refreshing but warm in early June. We decided we loved this spot so didn't venture out to any other beaches in the area, as we don't love crowds, we love cheap parking ($5/day, come and go as you please), and they have super affordable rental equipment. Chairs with Umbrellas were $5, I rented a Stand Up Paddleboard for an hour for $20, for four hours it was in the mid $30 range. The value was excellent for what we got, and we really enjoyed it! As always, those seagulls will snatch your tuna right out of your sushi, so be careful! There are gopher tortoises in the area, and we got to see one crossing the road, lots of birds and fish, spots to drop husband off for fishing, restrooms, water fountain and bottle filler, feet washing and shower station, and everything you need in a good beach! They combed the beach so the seaweed was not bad. They patrol the beach. On weekends there were lifeguards (first week of June). Have your kids bring a minnow net!

Hidden Gem Beach
The best bargain in town. You can spend all day at the beach and it costs only $5.00 to park. The beach is off the beaten track and is pretty secluded. The water was clean and clear and the scenery is very pretty. It was also so calm that you felt like you were floating in a lake. I have only been there twice but plan to go back once it's not as hot as it has been all summer.
