6 Day Kilimanjaro (Rongai) and 5 Day Camping Safari
We planned everything from Germany with Emilias via facebook and whatpp. We had to change our plans last minute due to a Covid-infection. Emilias and and his team were extremely helpful and even help us reorganize the trip. Instead of starting with the Kili hike, we ended up going to Zanzibar first, then to Safari (5 days, camping) and shifted the Kili hike towards the end of our trip. Everything was organized really professionally. We made a down payment from Germany and the major part was paid in cash after arrival. We were picked up at the airport. All cars and transportation used was modern. The safari was lovely, though we would recommend in the 4 day safari. I definitely can recommend to first go on safari and afterwards on the hike, as you already spent some time on a higher altitude. The tents were appropriate and we got sleeping bags and mattresses. There were even camping sites with hot water for showering, though not all of them. During the whole tour, we had a chef with us and the food was brilliant!! Kili: We picked the Rongai route, which was for us the perfect choice. It was dry and sunny even sunny most of the time. It is a 100% camping route, in the first few camps it was only our crew, later we were joined by other people. Clemence and Joseph were knowledgeable, smart and really caring guides. We would definitely not have managed without them. They measured our pulse and oxygen level twice a day, explained a lot about plants and nature and were extremely fit. Biggest surprise: We had nine porters with us. People underestimate this, but it is important to be aware in order to give appropriate tip. We were also very much surprise by the food we got. It was absolutely delicious, three warm meals a day, for lunch and dinner it also included a soup and a desert. You will not starve! Snow White Travel really is a good company to plan your hike with. We saw other companies carry people up and down! It was spooky. Snow WHite Travel really pays attention to your personal physique and would not risk you having long term damage of any kind. Only recommendation I would give: Maybe the company could provide hiking boots to all employees as they seems to be difficult to purchase in Tanzania.

Kilimanjaro Umbwe route and 2-day safari
Really enjoyed both climbing Kilimanjaro and safari after. This was the most comfortable and well-organized mountain climb I ever had (out of 10+ so far). Everything was great: communication, the itinerary, hotels in towns and on safari and tents on the mountain, food, guides, and safari. All of us summited and descended safely. A few of us needed covid tests for our return flights, and it was perfectly organized without affecting any other activities, and everyone got the results on time and flew back as planned. Thank you!
