Perfect for young children
Our three- and six-year-old grandchildren loved this place, even better than the zoo, and only $12 per person. They had a fun pony ride, and loved the petting zoo. There are many animals, and you can get really close to them. We spent a fun two and a half hours here.

Make this a MUST SEE if visiting the area or live locally
This is the perfect place to take the kids and adults. So many thins to do and see, it's hard to cover it all in one visit. The train ride was a highlight. It is apparent that the animals are well cared for and for very active making the visit even more enjoyable. This is a very affordable option to visiting the Tampa Zoo. Our next visit to the beaches will include this as a must do activity. The visits can be short or visit multiple times experiencing a different area each time. BTW there are several shaded benches and a lovely shaded deck with rocking chairs overlooking the lake and it had a nice breeze too!
