Good place.

In the year 2009-10 and before when we visit this place their were no entry fee but now a days they charge ₹10/- per head. It’s okay at the end they offer nice tea ☕️ too. Now they have prepared good boards showing history and preparation procedure for tea which is very informative. Also chocolate making factory is also places side by. There one stop shop is a good concept. You can by tea coffee as well as ayurvedic medicine and natural beauty products from here

Learn the process of making tea.
Being from Hill Station (Darjeeling), which is famous for tea, I wanted to have a look around here. This place is famous in Ooty, and I saw many tourists here. What makes this place special? It’s the hard work of people, and the process of making tea is not easy. But this place is great for learning purposes and if you want to buy tea. Unfortunately, I didn’t buy tea since my hometown is famous for tea itself and I really don’t drink tea. Visit only: Students: only for educational purposes. Many of them may not like it. Elder: only if they want to buy Overall it was good.

    Great learning experience
During our vacation in Ooty we had visited this popular Tea Factory and Museum which is located on the road to Dodabetta Peak. We had visited on a Saturday morning and the place was buzzing with tourists. Entrance tickets are priced at 10 rupees per person. The Museum section is small and highlights the history of Nilgiri tea. The Factory has different machines and we walked around checking the entire tea making process. At the end we were given free tea to sample. There is also a chocolates Factory and outlet to buy tea and chocolates.
