Totally beautiful... magical in any season and at anytime of the day. From sunset to sunrise the reflections of the light and trees on the lake are beautiful. A fantastic place to walk and enjoy the nature for the young and the elderly.

    Never been on a frozen lake, fantastic feeling
    I couldn’t believe the lake was frozen when the temperatures were not that low. I was a little bit scared, but decided to wander around. Fantastic feeling walking on a frozen lake. There was an event during the weekend, so workers were clearing the stalls. There were benches on in the middle of the lake where you can stop and relax for a while. The viewers toward the hills around were so beautiful. Amazing experience, I loved it so much. Hubby was happy too. I think this was the best thing we experienced along with the sweets and coffee while in St Moritz for a few hours.

    Ever changing views
    The walk round the lake takes about 60-90 minutes or even longer if you stop for coffee. It’s mostly flat. It gives views of the mountains, woods and town. Very quiet and has good paths.
