A scenic lake in the valley of Poschiavo. You can walk around it which will take about 2 hours to get around.

Crystal Water. Beautiful surrounding.
Although this lake is very close to Italy it is different than what we have seen in Italy. The lake is located about 20 minutes ride into Switzerland hidden in high mountains. We parked at the far end of the lake (if you come from Italy, pass the lake and enter inside the village after the lake to find a free parking). It is organized place containing also picnic tables. There is an organized path around the lake suited for hiking (about 8 k"ms long). You can also swim in the lake if you desire. Te path is going also into and under the mountain inside a cave, interesting and fun for kids. We didn't try to rent a boat, it seemed useless.

VIEW AROUND THE LAKE WAS MEMORABLE
All around the lake were mountain and dots of houses in white. The leaves of trees were green turning brown to yellow. Even the snow caps of mountain alps were visible at the distant background that adds beauty to the whole landscape. Very memorable.
