The lake is simply amazing. I have visited it on Saturday at 8am to be able to enjoy the quite moment. It’s a pity it’s fenced so you really need to pay entrance if you want to fully enjoy the walk. There were already few people in the restaurant having breakfast and swimming ... However by the time I was walking back from the Swiss Grand Canyon the place around noon was really full and super loud. If you enjoy peaceful moments in nature that’s for sure not a good time to go. I for sure would recommend any other day than weekend Check YouTube video of HSN Healing Sound of Nature with views on the lake recorded in the morning with little fog over water: Video Places to Visit in Switzerland Caumasee /Lake Cauma: The Pearl of Flims

Unbelievable Blue Lake !
One of the best lakes in Switzerland, very beautiful and an ideal place to spend time with family, friends or even alone. They charge you an entrance fee from one side of the lake, if you have the Guest card ( the one that you receive from your hotel) then the rates get really subsidised. If you are adventurous you can access the Lake from the other side, but with no real access to the beach unless you swim across the lake. But many adventures do! However, you have to exit the same way. Use the Cauma See lift, in case you don't want to walk all the way. We did both, walking and with the lift. No charges for the lift. Inside there a very good restaurant, with a takeaway too. Lots of stuff to rent. We rented a paddleboat and it was a great experience with the family, lazily paddling across the Lake. The lake is a Swimmer's delight. There is an island in the middle of the lake. A must-see must do place.

Nice little lake
There's a whole walled-off region where you have to pay to get in and you can swim in the lake. We didn't expect that so didn't get in there. Walk around the lake is free and beautiful. Nice location also, it's a very short walk from the Flims Waldhaus town area.
