Best adventure ever!
We booked 3-days tour to Barentsburg with Grumant team in April 2021. Here is our experience: 1. Pre-booking communication: Excellent, they answered all of our questions within hours, gave us all of the information needed. Best communication I have ever experienced. 2. Tour itself: we got a good instructions about scooter driving, and the adventure begun. Guides were very skilled, we felt safe all the time. Helped a lot with scooter tricks, showing how to turn, how to drive uphill etc. Guides were very helpful all the time, there were many stops, each one was followed by some interesting story about the place. 3. Flow of information during the trip: each day we were given perfect instructions with time of the next event. There are quite many things to do in Barentsburg, so it is not only about the scooter. Guides were eating dinners and lunches with us, providing great atmosphere and even more stories about the place. In general, there is not even a single negative thing, I would find abut the the tour or the company. 100% professionalism!

Adventure of a lifetime
We did the 3 day Arctic Time Machine tour with Grumant Arctic Travel Company in march 2022. This experience was absolutely outstanding! The Pyramiden destination is in itself a unique destination unlike anything else we have experienced. A model city constructed at the edge of the world, and then abandoned and left as a frozen memory. It simply has to be seen! Visiting Pyramiden with Grumant Arctic Travel Company further added to the great experience. Our guides picked us up on time at our hotel in Longyearbyen, and started with a good explanation of the route, safety on the tour and what we were going to see on the way. The company is well organized with everything neat and ready to go at their base of operation in Longyearbyen. Equipment was clean, in good condition and kept us warm and comfortable during the entire tour. The long snowmobile tour to Pyramiden was done with several stops and explanations of the areas, including a tasty russian lunch at a frozen lake in the wilderness. At Pyramiden our guides showed us through several of the buildings and the area with great insight and knowledge of the town. The hotel at Pyramiden is quirky and comfortable. What truly stands out is the friendliness of the staff and the restaurant. The food was amazing, homecooked russian dishes. Having the guides join us for dinner further added to the atmosphere. A special thanks to our guides, Andrey, Oleg, Dasha and Dani. They were knowledgeable, friendly, accomodating to our wishes and always able to add further insights to the place.
