The ambiance was on spot
The house was erected on its initial place before it was burnt by the collonialist. Every room in this house tells us stories, the feeling of being responsible for the freedom of the nation, the struggle of the people to live in liberty, and the determination to keep the syaria in the country is mixed up. This is a must visit site in Banda Aceh.

Aceh house tradition
This is local house have history... place must to see... when you in aceh you must use hijab for female...

An eye opener about Acheh history
The house is a replica of the original which was burnt down by the Dutch, but still looks authentic. We learnt a lot about the Acheh struggle against the Dutch Occupation. The photographs of the historical figures and protagonist very helpful, although most are not well preserved or were not digitally restored.
