Hidden gem in west Sumatra
I rent a motorcycle in Padang. Cheapest rate I found is with Riverside Hostel where it only charge 60k rupiah. 2 hours drive from Padang. If u lost perhaps 3hours. There is a counter where you need to register urself before u go in. With a local guide. Trust me, just pay for the guide if u are alone, think like this, you paying for an insurance, if anything happen there is someone to assist. Not much 100k rupiah for it. I tip another 50k after that. Is bad to travel in wet season, is slippery and alot of liches. Can't swim too. But this is the best waterfall I visited in Sumatra. On that day, no tourist or local. Only me, my guide and a cat. Just be extra careful when u trek in wet season. 3hrs trekking in another 2hrs out. GPS location : 00°40′12.73″S 100°20′08.48″E Dun miss this place. Cheers. Hidden gem
You need your own transport to get there since there is no public transport to get you there. Stretch before you start since there will be an hour or so of hike. The destination was amazing. Clean turquoise water. But the journey was my fave. If you happen to get tired and humid you can just swim on the stream anyway. A must visit. Its worth it!!

hidden gem at west sumatra
this location is quite difficult to reach as they dont have good transport to there... one hour teip from padang plus one hour of walking at jungle.... when u reach there.... it is like heaven... so natural
