    Home stay at Kersik Tuo
    Kersik Tuo Hi! Everyone... this is a small village and here is where our homestay is located. The place we stayed call Bintang Kerinci Hotel. ( Tel +62 812-4445-3002) It is a homestay. Small cozy homestay. No need Aircon for all the rooms... because of the surrounding is cold enough for us. Surround by Tea plantation...and a lots of vegetables plantation with cabbage, chili, onion, potato and a lot more. Beside surrounded by all the above that I mention, you can’t miss the magnificent backdrop of Mount Kerinci and others smaller mountains on the opposite of Mount kerinci... it’s beautiful. This is place just started to boom with businesses. So in future when you arrive there, hopefully there will be a lot more homestay and a lot more souvenirs shop, so far now... only limited choices available. The room in the homestay is simple...you get either 2 single bed or a queen size bed. Then attached a sitting toilet together with shower head ( so, it’s a bathroom as well) take note - no sink and wall rack to place toothbrush and toothpaste. Hot water usually can cater for one or two person... then gotta wait for the water heater tank to reheat back the cold water. Usually water from tap is sooo cold. Homestay breakfast is fried rice with fried egg. And nearby homestay there are available restaurants so for lunch and dinner, can try the nasi ayam penyet.. ? better than hotel breakfast. Well not much to mention, about this place.

    Good photo opportunities
    A by product viewing opportunity on the way to Mt Kerinci. Some good photo opportunities, although not worth visiting purely for the sake of the tea plantation itself (but as an add on bonus to Mt Kerinci).
