Batanghari River is biggest river in Jambi area. Very attraction place to visit. The River is icon of Jambi city. Need improvement by the government for space sightseeing. Now, there is bright to connected Jambi city with Sebrang subburb. Everybody could walking to sebrang subburb using this bright which before people need to use boat to go. Come and visit batanghari river.

    Not the best experience
    I walk the bridge, went to the Gentala Arasyi Museum, the went back the other side using small boat. I didn't enjoy it much, the weather is so hot, the river was smelly. The museum was not about Jambi's history, but rather a Jambi Islamic Historical Museum.

    working waterfront to be sure
    The color of mud, and full of barges carrying containers and coal from the coast to the bustling city of Jambi. Lots of picturesque villages, environmental devastation of the drained peatlands, and debris in the river - mostly loose bits of wood. Always something to look at.
