great place
very lovely caretaker who helped us with everything he could even providing tubes to float in the water. it was nice and quiet because of ramadan :) nice place to cool down from the heat.

very beautiful waterfall
the waterfall is beautiful, the location a bit far from luwuk so u need to spend several hours to reach the waterfall and go back to luwuk. People say you can swim in here but not when theres flood.

Small waterfall, but nice surroundings
It's a bit complicated to go from Luwuk to Salodik waterfall, because there isn't any possibility to rent a motorbike in Luwuk. Finally we just hired two ojeks to go there and around. The way to go to waterfall: you have to leave Luwuk city (the main road towards Palu) and immediately after leaving the city (big gate Selamat jalan) turn left to the hills (direction Palu). It's about 25-30 minutes drive from harbour. The entrance fee is voluntary. There's toilet and place to change your clothes (to swim in the river). Most of the tourist are Indonesian so I recommend to wear at least leggings and T-shirt to be dressed up appropriately. The waterfall is quite small, but swimming there is refreshing. If you continue driving from Luwuk to Palu you'll come to Teletubbies hill. There's one more waterfall in Luwuk (according to locals it's closer to the city), we just haven't enough time to visit it.
