Great Mosque
We got a GrabTaxi and went to this mosque as it was pretty far away from our hotel. Its built on a large area, worth a visit for a few minutes though, not much to do here.

Beautiful mosque
This mosque is situated in the middel of Makassar. It was nice to see how people rest and spend time downstairs on the cool and clean marble floor and how school children are having lessons there. One needed to go inside barefoot, but there was a guarded olace where you could leave your shoes. The main hall upstarirs was beautiful with its simple decoration. Pleople were very riendly and happy too see a westerner visit there temple.
