Huge park, nice place

The emerald heart of an oftentimes gray city, São Paulo's Parque do Ibirapuera offers respite from the urban madness among cool, shady trees and mentally-stimulating structures. Running trails, bike paths, and yoga and capoeira sessions let locals and visitors alike keep fit, while a clutch of museums and galleries — such as the museums of Modern and Contemporary Art, all designed by master Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer — gives the brain a good workout. The impressive Museu Afro Brasil and fiery Auditório Ibirapuera are two of the park's treasures.

Great park!
We visited the Ibirapuera park on Shrove Monday, so the park was very packed with people. Entrance fee for a car was R11. A lot of coconut stands for R9 each. Public bathrooms are available as well. Great park to visit if you’re in the area.

A wonderful park just in the middle of the big city of Sao Paulo...
Ibirapuera is a nice place to do many kind of activities and also to walk around either alone or with your family. Specially during weekends it is full of young people playing volley, doing jogging, dating, relaxing on the grass, biking, and many other sports... The park is very safe and well conservated, and it also has a lake and some bars and restaurants inside. Parking around the park is largely available. It is definitively a nice place to visit!
