Great 5 hour tour of islands and beaches
We had debated the merit of booking a private tour rather than just lazing on Jabaquara beach, but then realized that really, the best beaches and swimming are much further out in the bay. Thus, in the advice of someone we trust, we booked a 5 hour voyage for our family (3 teen boys). We met Alesandero (sic?) at the Boa Vista Marina about 5 min drive south of Paraty at 1030 am. Parking is 20 Reals for the day. We then set off for a great day of snorkeling, swimming, and exploring. Being on a 17 foot powerboat with awning was great. We brought our lunch. They had a cooler with ice and bottled water onboard (gratis). Alesandro spoke very decent English which aided in making the day even better. The cost for us was 900 Reals for the trip. Overall, we felt this was a great day and worth every penny. We are happy to recommend them.

Awesome day on the boat
Davi was absolutely awesome and provided a great day on the water! I wanted to get picked up in Angra, spend the day on the boat and get dropped near Paraty in lieu of a few more hours in the car. Davi was super flexible and communicative, building an itinerary for me as well as being realistic as to what we could see. I've booked boat days all around the world and this company was one of the most professional and flexible. Davi and Alessandro even dropped us right on the beach in front of the hotel, plus called up to them to come get our bags. Effortless! Despite being the Sunday after NYE and lots of crowds, Davi took us to some quiet spots to swim and relax. This is such gorgeous part of the country and so much to explore!! Boat was a good size and well-maintained with great power. Another group cancelled, so they kindly brought us their cheese plate which was delicious!! Highly recommend adding this on. I actually like that you can add on food, drink, etc. as needed instead of a bunch of extra that you may not care about. The website and all the reviews are super accurate. The branding and consistency is really good and rare as well. They also give you a little gift at the end, which was a kind and nice touch. I wish we had a 2nd day, but of course they were booked. Great company, very client-centric and a connected, modern approach. I think Davi will have an empire one day for sure!

Idyllic Day on the Water in Paraty (Palombeta II, "Classic Itinerary")
We had a fabulous day on the water on the Palombeta II! Since we were traveling during high season (the week between Christmas and New Years) and were only spending a couple of days in Paraty, we wanted to have everything arranged in advance. Communication with Davi was prompt, thorough and professional. I was able to choose the itinerary and the boat and confirm all details through email and WhatsApp. Our captain Aurelio was waiting when we arrived at the pier on our chosen date. Aurelio spoke excellent English and showed us so many beautiful places. He gave us so many options for swimming, snorkeling and enjoying the views, and tailored the itinerary to our interests. Although it was a very busy time in Paraty, with the speedboat we were able to get to Saco do Mamanguá before it became too crowded (and if any other beach looked too crowded, Aurelio would find a better one nearby). We saw starfish, dolphins, agoutis, monkeys, lizards and colorful fish. We had lunch at small restaurant on an island with beautiful views. We are a family of four with two college aged kids. We chose the Palombeta II and it was perfect for us - all of us could sit together under the sun shade of the boat. The boat was spotlessly clean and well maintained. This day was a highlight of our trip to Brazil, and we highly recommend Palombeta Tours to anyone visiting Paraty!
