Forget the tour in a jeep! Take your car and go alone in the really morning! Then you can swim alone in the natural pool. We loved it. You have to pay 5R$ for the maintenance guy but it worth it.

Caution advised on road to Pedra Branca
I cycled with my wife to the waterfalls and pools at Pedra Branca which are wonderful. Would advise using a tour guide in jeep, we were robbed at gun point by two locals on a motorbike on the journey back to Paraty. EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED!!!

You'll Want to Swim Here
Really pretty waterfall and rainforest. It can be hot and humid, so take your swimsuit and get in the water. We went here as part of a jeep tour from our cruise ship so didn't get to spend as much time enjoying the scenery and the pools. It can be crowded as it is evidently a "must do" while in Paraty.
