A surprise
Three floors of all kinds of oratories, very well explained through signs on each level,showing the different types and purposes of oratories in the centuries XII,XIII,XIX. This museum has a modern conception in showing relics. It belongs to INSTITUTO CULTURAL FLAVIO GUTIERREZ, the collector, which has another museum in Tiradentes town with 306 images of Sant'Ana. Wonderful work of this institute

Niche, but interesting
A very well presented museum, though the subject matter is a tad niche. But, if you're remotely interested, worth the visit.

Small collection of oratories
Museum is rather small and exposition is limited to only oratories. There is good information in English. Certainly worth a visit if you are interested by can be skipped. A nice place but not a must view. You have to leave bags in a locker and as usually in Ouro Preto, you cannot take pictures inside the museum. There are no guards but cameras are everywhere.
