    Many options to see
Very good museum, good collection of material related with old professions. Good to take the kids, so they can understand that not so much time ago (50, 60 years ago...) the live was very different.

A superb collection of historic arts and crafts
There are not enough superlatives to describe this wonderful collection of arts and crafts covering hundreds of years of progress in pre industrial development in Brazil. The displays are housed in two beautifully restored railway station buildings on either side of tracks that are still in use daily by commuter, freight and long distance passenger trains. Doesn't open before noon, but admission is dirt cheap, there is a weird gift shop, sort of, and you can get a delicious lunch at the little coffee shop. You could easily spend a couple of hours at this museum.
