Interesting and very humble

We visited Pelé's house on our way to Belo Horizonte (World Cup Game Brasil 1 x Germany 7). It was very interesting visit. Free admission and spotless place. Museum personnel did not speak English, but were out of this world helpful, friendly and tried very hard to show the house to us. They pointed to the boards explanation on the walls of each room that are in English and were willing to assist us with pictures on the outside premisses. Inside photos are not allowed and they were very sweet on the way they explained it. They were very glad to see that I spoke Portuguese and could translate to my friends all that they were explaining to me and others at the house. After that a ton of extra information was offered about the house, people that lived there and Pele's history. Your visitation will take the most 20 minutes. Make sure your have a well printed road way or web maps on how to get there. Pele's House is not at GPS points of interest and the locals could not explain us very well on how to get there. We drove in circles for while till a Taxi Diver told us on how to get there. It is wheel chair accessible using the walk side entrance, and baby strollers are accepted inside as well. If you visit during november... visit the trees outside and enjoy a little bit of Jabuticaba (Brasilian fruit) it is very sweet. Enjoy your visit. I will be back!
