Terrible experience with FJP
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had - my wife and I reserved a transfer from Salvador to Morro De Sao Paulo and the FJP representative told us everything was booked and ready to go when we spoke to them the week before our booked trip. My wife asked for instructions, who to meet, where to meet them, how it would all work out the day of - the representative said we would receive the instructions the day before and everything would be clear. The day before we never received anything so my wife messaged them the morning of our trip and still no response. We finally got a response while in our Uber to the port where we were hoping to find the right person to talk to for checking in for our reservation. The message we received an hour before our boat was supposed to leave was that our reservation had been cancelled because the boat had broken down and we would need to take a boat later in the day, which would result in us missing our next transfer to Boipeba. We frantically arrived at the Catamaran office and spoke to a very nice attendant who said, no FLP has informed you incorrectly, the boat you reserved is still operating, but I do not see you names as reserved passengers. This clearly means FJP lied to us because they couldn't confirm our reservation and told us the boat broke. This is terribly misleading the customer and we will never use this company for travel again.
