Corey Avenue is a short 6 blocks or so stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to Boca Ciega Bay. First opened in 1937, much of Corey Street has an old Florida feel with many of the original buildings being re purposed. There are bars, restaurants, boutiques, specialty shops, art galleries, as well as the art deco Beach theatre. Corey Street hosts the Sunday market from October to June with scores of vendors as well as festivals year round like the Seafood festival in February and even a Christmas parade. A nice change of pace for a day off the beach. See more..
