    Hike in/out
A local at Trunk Bay suggested we head to the protected waters of Leinster Bay for excellent snorkeling (both Trunk and Cinnamon had heavy surf the day we visited). What he did not tell us is that the hike in/out is over 2 miles. We started on our way and then realized we weren’t going to have enough time, so we turned back. It’s not a hard walk, just rocky in spots. Bring decent footwear, more substantial than flip-flops. It is very pretty and quiet along the water’s edge. I wouldn’t bring young children though. Allow for at least 2 hours if you are planning to snorkel. Longer if you are including Watermelon Cay.

    Sunset
We saw a beautiful sunset here after doing the ruins just up the lot. You can park and admire the spot from a lot or park a little further back and once you walk up to the bay and jump down, you’re on the trail that starts here just off to the right. We only went about halfway as we started to lose light but we saw some fun stuff along the trail, not to mention it’s just a beautiful place.
