Nothing outstanding but still a fun, quick stop.
Built in 1840, this building is where Abraham Lincoln maintained working law offices.

Work in Progress
The building is nice on the outside and there is a Lincoln and family statue out front. Inside in the Visitor Center for downtown Springfield. They were very nice. I really didn't need anything though. I should have asked if they had a Lincoln Home NPS pamphlet, but I forgot. Anyway, the law offices were upstairs and you could not go up and see them because a) they're not finished and b) there is not fire exit, so it's not allowed. They do have an office area set up downstairs and a recreation of an old Post Office. It's worth a stop, especially for information and to add a little more Lincoln to your visit.

Short walk from the Old State Capitol. Not much to see. Tourist info center inside with NPS stamps and brochures. I'd stop here first on a Lincoln Tour just to pick up recommendations.
