Amazing historical site

Beautiful location just minutes from the Danube. Many interesting and educational, posted in several languages. A must visit when in the area. Good walking path, and a Museum .

    Beatiful place!
    The whole site is worth visiting, the ancient walls, the churh, the secret well, the museum. I am glad I could go and visit the place.

    The Secret Well is my favorite well
    Great for history buffs, Sucidava has a very interesting history with a hidden well (you can still drink from it because the water is super pure - tests were made on it) and a church where a Germanic man (probably a viking) was buried in a christian fashion. No one knows why, but there are speculations. Bring water with you and wear a hat, there isn't much shade. Overall: I would go again in maybe 5-10 years, or even sooner if I have friends from outside the country visiting who want to see it.
