Great house and art museum
This is such a jewel! The building is extremely attractive from the outside, inter-War architecture. Once inside, it is even more beautiful, great space to enjoy art. And inside there are treasures : Storck family, Grigorescu, Petrascu, Iser, Aman, Luchian, Oscar Han and many others. The ticket is cheap and the lady was very kind.

Most beautiful building in Valcea
Former house of a mid XXth century traidesmen family, this house has amazing architecture, each room giving the art exposed a different, special setting. There are paintings and sculptures of faimous Romanian artists, such as: N. Grigorescu, Nicolae Vermont, Sabin Popp, Ipolit Strambu , Ion Georgescu, and from the 1st half of the XXth century - N.Tonitza. Th.Pallady. The fee is close to nothing, there is a guide inside that will walk you through all the rooms and give details on the objects exposed, if asked. I found her very refreshing and very well documented on the matter.
