Even it was a Saturday afternoon, and a wedding was scheduled the place was full of peace and quiet. In the yard and on the small houses around everything was clean and in the right order. Monastery was really full of piece and Good inside.

    Old center of beliefs
There are few places in Romania where pre-Christian beliefs and Orthodox beliefs combine and this is one of them. The monastery has superb surroundings. We entered during winter in the afternoon and the well warmed large church was a mystical experience with the lights turned off. The smaller church in the back is really the gem, take some time to admire the exterior decorations and the paintings, it is so cozy. The nuns were performing the 5 o'clock rituals by banging the bells and a wooden plaque.
