Beautiful to see
I only saw it from outside, but it looks very nice. It's beautiful illuminated in the night and it's close to city centre. Worth see if you are in the areea.

Horrible Post-Communist Monstrosity
The Extremely Tacky Kitch Monstrosity is and will probably be, for a long time, an unfinished monument to the local government corruption and horrible taste. Architecturally and visually it's a great example of what NOT to do. Half the insideis barren concrete walls and unfinished elements. The other half, as well as the furniture is an amazing contrast of the cheapest shoddiest work painted over with gold paint. This church in near the Old City which is comprised, starting in the south near the Danube, of The Ok Port, The Amazing Medieval Citadel, several awesome parks, The Gorgeous Theatre and Fantastic Fountain. If you want to walk from here towards New Center and Water Tower your visual senses will be assaulded by this attept at a cathedral. If you want to see the nicest church in town look for "Grecescu" Church vis-a-vis the train station which is a 20 minute walk away west. Source: Am local.
