    A piece of history
For sure it’s not a breathtaking place and unfortunately probably most Romanian people today don’t know who Anton Pann actually was and did. It’s a a small place, with a few rooms to check out, but it’s 100% authentic, with items more than 160 years old. It tells a history about a man who did too many great things to be unfairly mostly forgotten, including the current national anthem (lyrics by Andrei Muresanu). The curator of this place was extremely helpful, she gave me an insightful presentation and deep answers on my questions about Anton Pann. I was the only visitor, on a Sunday morning, from entering to leaving. You can also buy a few small souvenirs. The entry fee for an adult is only 6 RON, probably no cards payment is possible. Parking is available nearby.

    small, old but charming
Is the house in which it seems that Anton Pann lived for a while. It's positioned in the heart of Ramnicu Valcea and it is small, old and charming! It is not always open for tourists but even from the outside is beautiful
