Robinson Nature Preserve, Florida, United States

4.5 (1.281 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Southwest Gulf Coast Nature & Wildlife Areas

Nature and scenic vistas await.

With lots of boardwalk, and trails with crushed shell, this preserve is very wheelchair and scooter friendly. It does have observation tower, but it is not accessible. There are several places to sit and look out at Tampa Bay. There are a lot of open spaces, so it would be very hot in the summer, I would recommend going in the fall and winter. But a very nice preserve that should not be missed on your trip to the area.

    Awesome!!!
The Robinson Preserve is a must-do when in Bradenton! They have a 3 mile hiking trail that is beautiful or you can rent kayaks for $32 for 4 hours. I did both. You need to book the kayaks a day in advance through Kayak Jacks Paddle Sports. I highly recommend it. The Preserve is so calm and peaceful, and you can enjoy many species of Florida birds.

    Nature at her best
We came here on a recommendation while in Anna Maria Island. We found it and ideal place to walk around the beautiful trails and be home so much of what mother nature offers. Everything was lush and green even though it’s February. We saw amazing birds pelicans Ibis Heron‘s . We must’ve walked for over two hours. A highlight was climbing the tower that overlooks the bay towards Saint Petersburg absolutely gorgeous views the water was stunning. It’s the type of place that you must go see as an alternative to the general shopping in little stores when you’re away on vacation we highly recommend it.
