Again a strange exhibition
The Wäinö Aaltonen Museum (WAM) by the Aura River is the signature museum of the famous Turku-based sculptor. On our latest visit, there was an exhibition Touched by the Same Breath of Air. It consisted of Rosa Barba’s film and video installations. The central piece of the exhibition was an expansive steel construction filling the entire WAM sculpture hall. It was a very strange exhibition. There was much more to see in the entry hall.

Great art works, just really small
Honestly, this museum had some great pieces up but I found it all too small and it was a very short visit in my opinion. I went on Turku day and so I did not have to pay but I think I would have been a bit disappointed if I did, seeing how things in Finland seem to be so expensive. But again, if you don't mind the price, it really has some nice pieces.
