Beautiful orthodox church, good choir
This orthodox church, situated on the market place, was designed by C.L. Engel (more known in Finland for his works around the Senate Square in Helsinki) at a time when Finland belonged to Russia. In the summer you can typically ask a guide to tell you about the church and its history; he or she will happily do so. Everyone is welcome to visit no matter what faith (or none). You can also visit a church service. The church choir is one of the best I have heard, especially on special occasions when more singers tend to be present.

This is a nice orthodox church in the centre of Turku, it's free to go in. It's not that big on the inside but is worth visiting if you are passing.
