Kuusisto Bishop's Castle, Southwest Finland, Finland
3.5 (22 reviews) Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #2 in Kaarina Ancient Ruins • Castles
Hidden gem
I have passed the sign many times. This castle is 11 km away from the motorway. The parking lot is 1 km away from the ruins. You can get an impression of the bishops castle seeing the ruins and reading the information tables. There is also a walking path from the parking lot to the castle. Best time to visit is during the summer, when the manor is also open.

Stone Castle ruins by the sea
Located in small green peninsula in Kuusisto Island. Only impressive ruins of old palacelike bishops castle remains. Tranquille and nice area to explore by foot especially during spring, summer and autumn seasons. Not much services.

Ruins of the medieval castle
Nice place to visit, full of history. Today many people come here to enjoy their picnic on the lawns
