Adventure park and lido
The lido (summer only) was a great hit with my youngest visitor from England There’s a huge slide (into shallow water) and a ‘snake slide’ into a pool (good with arm bands)... the water is warm and the showers hot. Toilets are free to use and clean. Changing rooms basic (old fashioned) The cafe is quite good (though the coffee should be hotter) ... nice ice creams and some snacks for sale. You can also do as we did and take your own picnic (no alcohol or glass) Please shower before and after swim to keep the pool clean We took own floats, but there are some to borrow if you forget them! You need 50c for locker for valuables ...refunded when you return key Entry is inexpensive adults 5e children/pensioners/students 3e ...no time limit but you can’t renter once you leave Easy to access by local bus ... the adventure park (free) is near by too.

Fun summer activities for the whole family
Kupittaa Park is located close to the city center of Turku - just a 15 minute walk from the riverside - and it contains many types of entertaining activities for all kinds of needs and various groups of people. There are many playgrounds for kids of different ages, with more types of activities than usual, some birds and other animals for kids to see, and beautiful park areas for picnics etc., and nearby there are also sports fields and a football stadium etc.. You can buy ice-cream in the kiosk. There's also a really nice restaurant that has a nice and affordable lunch daily, as well as cafeteria products. The best feature of the park - in my opinion - is the open-air swimming pool area, which is located in the centre of the park. There are several pools of varying depths and even some water slides - but basically its not a water park but more about swimming and picnicing. There's a nice lawn and a little playground for kids, and there are also life-guards keeping an eye on the swimmers. You can bring your own picnic but there's also a cafeteria where you can buy some fastfood and icecream. This place is popular with local families and can be quite busy on hot summer days, but somehow there always seems to be room. There are lockers for valuables, changing cubicles, toilets, and it's also wheelchair accessible - but I am not so sure if you can enter the pools from a wheelchair. The only thing that is not so great here are the shower facilities - there are basically showers only by the pool and no saunas, so if you need a more thorough cleansing and would like to warm up after swimming then this place is not your best choice. There are quite limited toilet facilities as well so you don't necessarily find where to dry your hair etc. But otherwise it's a great place for a little splash - or even for more serious swimming! The longest pools are 25 m but most people tend to take it easy in the other pools so there's usually room for doing conditioning swimming. My visits to Turku in the summer are not perfect without a visit here! Their open during the summer months practically all day - from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and a couple of times during the summer they even have open until 1 a.m.!

Nice park for all of ages
Nice area near by city center for relaxing, jogging and for family plays. Play areas for different age of children. Bird park and traffic park in one corner. Bouncing castle fo little ones for a small fee. Bikes for hole family rental for explore more about the area. Different kind of happenings is also available. Next to the park is open air swimming pool area with ticket cost. Minigolf seems like hight standard quality, so tickets was too expensive for uss. Take picnic to the park for a few hours. We got our croquet wit uss. Parking available for free on street. Maybe more space next to swimming area.
