Korpo church with many specialities

Here is a church which you wiill not find anything alike in the rest of Finland, the choirway in the front of the church is an remaine from the catholic time. The church has also some statues and a nice looking votiveship. The St George staty and the St Olav staty id great. Also the paintings on the wall with good and eveil figures are interesting.

    Medieval stone church
    This church was built between 1430 and 1440 and is one of the oldest churches in Finland. Several overpainted medieval wall paintings were found and restored, when the church was renovated in the 1950s.

    Nice smal church in Korppoo
    We were unlucky during our visit because there was some service going on and was not possible to go further, only quick peek inside. We did walk around it and did look nice. So something to visit next time
