Klockarbergenin Luolat / Caves, Southwest Finland, Finland
5.0 (1 review) Spent < 1 hour Ranking #8 in Pargas Caverns & Caves
Stunning natural formation
Klockarbergen cave on Nagu Island is one of the largest caves in Finland. It is located near the town center. The cave was born as the boulders were removed from the granite rock by the continental glacier during the ice age. This vast and damp cave is haunted by the spirit of a little girl. Back in the 19th century, when many wolves lived and roamed the island of Nagu, the animals also stayed in the Klockarbergen cave. It is said that this young girl was one of the unlucky victims of the beasts.
