The island is so beautiful and fascinating with the islanders living distant from everything else. Nature is perfect. Sailing here was the best thing all summer

Exotic indeed
Jurmo island is a very exotic place, I don't think find a sinilar place anywhere else. We took a ferry from (free if you dont't have a car) Nauvo/Nagu and the journey took about 4 hours. Weather was nice so we stayed on the deck the whole time admiring beautiful archipelago scenery. Next time we must make a stop at Aspö and Nötö as well! In Jurmo we stayed at a 4 people cabin, it was quite ascetic but good enough for us. Toilet and sauna were 100 mettres away. Our friend did scuba diving, the water was so clear and clean! The Jurmo church and cemetary were very nostalgic and we took long walks on the beach and little forest. I highly recommend! Though not for prople who prefer luxury :)

One of the finest place in Finland
Located in Turku Archipelago. You should travel there by ferry (free of charge) an it takes many hours but the views during the trip are magnificent. The island itself is extremely nice, wild and barren. The length of the island is 7 kilometers, so there is good possibilitie for trekking. There is a station for ringing and observing birds.
