4.5 (24 reviews) Spent Ranking #22 in Turku Water Parks
Fun and Safe for kids!
I was impressed by the thoughtful design in the different slides. Some water slides are winding, some are dark and so forth. I was never bored. Also, the height of each slide is carefully determined, so that there is not too maný stairs to climb each time, Each ride in the higher water slides are supervised by an employee. Visitors should be aware that many of the slides has a minimum 120 cm limit. There is an unsupervised "Pirate Island" area for younger kids, though. The staff was polite, also at the restaurant. Also, the hamburgers were tasty! Despite it was our our first trip to Turku, we managed to find a public bus that took us to a nearby crossroad.

Great water park for its size
Not the biggest water park but they've managed to stuff in loads of slides and pools and a cafe. Most of the slides are really good and there's a fair bit of variety. The park was really clean and the saunas are huge! Good day out

Great fun in the sun!
Went on a hot summer day (~30C) with three teenage boys so four of us for around 80 Euro entry fee. Parking is free and we found a space easily at 11.30 (park opens at 11). Positives: -lots of varied slides for different experience / intensity...our favourite was the blue and white striped two person slide with steep drop into a half pipe - great fun! -good options for younger kids (pirate themed smaller slides & tubes in shallow water and bouncy castles) -longest queue for a slide was no more than a few minutes -free lockers that will fit a small rucksack (no deposit needed) -park is clean and tidy -very safety conscious with good staff levels supervising the slides -food prices not too outrageous for a captive audience, but you can also take own food in (at least we saw others doing that) Could improve: -we were lucky to find some sun loungers with shade under a large umbrella, but there didn’t seem to be many umbrellas around the park so can be a long day in the sun -Finland had hottest July on record so unfortunately the wasp population is thriving - there were a lot around the main food area particularly attracted to the self serve soda dispensers -bottled water on a hot day can become pretty expensive at ~2.5 euro for 0.5l bottle...but they did give tap water in cups at the main food area when asked We left happy :-)
