Beautiful
I spent a week here around the Finnish mid-summer holiday. If you like peace and quiet, beautiful views of the the Finnish landscape, and a get-away-from-it all experience that leaves you believing you actually could be the last people on earth then this is the place for you. I loved it and can't wait to go back. If you visit in the summer be aware that it doesn't really go dark which can make getting young children to agree that it's bed time a bit difficult!

Stunning Scenery
Lake Saimaa is an absolutely beautiful part of Finland! We travelled around the lakes for 4 days in the snow and it was beautiful! Full of winter activities. Would love to return in the summer as it will be like a different country!
