Romantic stay. Nicest staff. Great champagne!
Cute and romantic room, better looking in reality than in pics, good size. They only had a twin room when we booked, but it was good for one night. Traditional design with lots of wood. The property has a big garden, romantic rooms, a great restaurant, a wine shop and a cellar. Perfect heating in our room, very important in autumn and winter. It was dead quiet, we slept like babies. Even had some mountain view. Room was very affordable (maybe because it was kinda off season) and it even had breakfast included in room rate - very good value for money! But breakfast was nothing special, very basic, would have liked some traditional products. Restaurant - the best food we ever ate in Prahova Valey and at very good prices. Restaurant menu not very diverse - so for longer stays you don't have many options. For 1-2 nights it's perfect. Staff - deserves a medal for staff of the year. Everyone was more than helpful and nice. Special thanks to the receptionist that gave us the room earlier that the official check in, allowing us to go hiking that day and generally assisted us with anything in a very nice way. The restaurant staff were also exceptionally nice. Rhein champagne - delicious and affordable, also all wines in menu and wine shop are affordable. The only thing that really bummed me was that the cellar and museum can only be visited in groups of 8, so not available for traveling couples. I understand the logistics of wine tasting requires a min of participants, but I would have liked to at least do the informative tour without tasting. Wifi did not work in our room-not important for for us Location -This did not bother us, but it may be a bit far from Azuga sky slope and gondola (25 min walk). On the other hand it's close to the train station (10-12 min walk).

Good wine
We stayed at Rhein one night and we really liked it. The accommodation is good, the environement is beautiful, the food is ok too. They also have a store with wines and various drinks. We also visited the cellars, and a very nice lady introduced us to their history and the production of champagne. You can pay with holiday vouchers
