Interesting Piece of History
The place is located on the road from Campulung to Pitesti, about 7-8 km from Campulung (not very much visible from the main road) and is a very interesting piece of Roman history. The castrum has been recently restored and is now looking really good. There is also a small museum that can be visited.

Some nice information about Roman times
A well prepared guide and some interesting facts even for 8-10 years children. Parking for 8-10 cars

Local history
A lot of informations based on the Roman period when Jidova was on the first border. The place was protected by a small army - around five hundred solders.
