A piece of history
This is the museum of one of our greatest writers. It's worth visiting not only for the books and the comprehensive collection of items that belonged to him, but also for the nice and professional staff who will answer all your questions.

A touch of the past
Beautiful location, in the centre of Ploiesti. Old building well restored. Very nice in the summer, on the terrace !

nice and relaxing place to visit with family
a very old and beautiful house, well restored and very cosy in a quiet place in the very center of the city, but somehow in a side location with flowers and an old fashioned perfume. Exhibits are not so extraordinary, but recreate the colour of the epoch. A very small museum that worth to be visited with family and especially with children which can get some cultural information. Unfortunately is not so easy to be found, because indicator are very little and poor. Go anyway and have a nice afternoon in the past centuries.
