In the center of Targoviste you shall find the old city center - basically the neighborhood between the City Hall , the Alexandru Ioan Cuza street and the Princely Court - well whatever is left of it , to be clear. A nicely maintained area, with historical buildings that are looking good, with several statues , nice alleys and patches of green and flowers. Very nice area for a stroll and stretch of the feet and loaded with nice places where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or you can have a snack or stop for a meal at one of the restaurants in the area (see the separate review for the one of the restaurants in the old City Center) . Overall a well maintained area , with very nice walkways - so nothing to complain from that perspective ...and it was very clean , compared to other cities and their city center. When in Targoviste look-it up - might be interesting for you to see it.
